Other claws work better and look more painful. The mandible claw is the one mick foley uses with socko where you grab the other wrestler by his jaw bone.

Download anime nausicaa of the valley of the wind sub indo princess. There were variations. The Crusher used a stomach claw that was applied on the abs.Sgt.

Jacques Goulet had a 2-fingered version called The Scorpion. And of course,Mankind had his mandible Claw. Who was the first wrestler to use The Claw?Who do you think did it best? Were there other variations? And why doesn't anybody use it anymore? 'That is all the People need to know!'

IP: Member Member # 1452 posted 08:10 PM I though Karl Krupp and the Spoiler used it well. Some others I recall were Tank Patton, Seig Stanke, Barry Windham, Taras Bulba, and Angel Morrell (who wasn't very convincing with it). A lot of Japanese guys, such as Kabuki, used 'nerve holds' which were basically a claw to the neck or armpit. FWIW, my guess is it's not used much anymore because it's not very convincing in these post-kayfabe days and because it's not very exciting or athletic (as opposed to, say, a hurricanrana, which isn't convincing either but is still entertaining to watch even if you don't 'believe' it). No, but they still expect us to by the Tongan Death Grip. IP: Member Member # 613 posted 09:57 PM I think the last mainstream wrestler who used the claw hold was Kurrgan, during his failed heel run in the WWF. People didn't buy it. IP: Member Member # 1578 posted 09:58 PM Don't forget that Barry Windham started using the claw as his finisher shortly after turning on Lex Luger and joining the Horsemen.
