Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my design department. They need to manage fonts for their job, install, uninstall and look for fonts. I don't know how to work with font in Windows 7 without admin rights, I tryed to change permisions to font's folder an in some registry keys like Windows XP, but it don't work in 7. The UAC is turned down. There is a program that install fonts without admin rights, but is a command line interface, too much difficult for users.

Anyone had have this problem and resolv it? Sorry for my english. I'm assuming that this program runs fine when an administrator is logged in? You could use a tool like SysInternals' RegMon or FileMon which can tell you which registry keys and files are being accessed when FontRunner is executed. Run it when you are logged in as the user so you can see where it fails. Open up access to those keys and files.then hopefully you'll be good.

You also might consider contacting FontRunner's development team and asking them how to enable their program to run for non-administrators.
